News music in TV station articles edit

Please refrain from adding news music information from TV station articles. Consensus at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television Stations is to exclude such information as being of interest to such a small subset of readers as to be trivial. dhett (talk contribs) 07:38, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Roland: I've moved the material you placed into an article into your userpage -- found at User:Wtvg1 -- because that's where it belongs; the userpage is the only thing here that can be described as "my Wikipedia page". If you have any questions about Wikipedia policy, you can leave me a note. Accounting4Taste:talk 03:59, 9 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please listen to us and stop adding news music info in articles. I have just reverted your changes at WSFL-TV, and you will be reported should you continue to make such edits. Rollosmokes (talk) 04:38, 10 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Why did you remove my fake broadcasting company with my fake TV stations? Wtvg1 (talk) 00:17, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Newscast titles discussion edit

I have opened a discussion on newscast titles in TV station articles. You are invited to participate. dhett (talk contribs) 01:54, 15 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please stop edit

Please refrain from adding newscast titles to station articles. Much of the information you are adding is unsourced and speculative, and adds nothing but fancruft to the articles. You have also not taken Dhett's invite to discuss this with the group. Until you do so, all additions such as this will be deleted. Rollosmokes (talk) 15:46, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dhett, how do I particapte for the TV Station Articles? Wtvg1 (talk) 15:57, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

For one, you have to follow the rules and standards of the project, which, apparently, you're disobeying. -- azumanga (talk) 23:26, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Be bold edit

If you see something that needs to be changed in an article, go ahead and change it! There's no need to ask permission. Perhaps you're gunshy from the newscast titles and music dustup - your changes need to be reliably sourced and encyclopedic. If something you do goes against previous project consensus, we'll let you know, and then you just don't do it anymore. When I first started, I made sorting changes to scores of categories, thinking I was doing good. Come to find out, the project had already decided against doing what I had done. Someone informed me, so I reverted my changes. It took awhile, but I eventually undid all of my previous work. dhett (talk contribs) 23:18, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

WBRE-TV edit

I tried to change the station history of WBRE-TV, because it's supposed to be Wilkes-BarR E & i tried to do that & it wouldn't work. Can you guys fix that? Roland Ortega (talk) 23:25, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

KENS-TV edit

I have reverted your changes to KENS-TV. It is not appropriate to use symbols such as "&" and "@" to replace the words "and" and "at", nor is it appropriate to use abbreviations such as "1st" or "3rd" to replace the words "first" and "third". Please consult the Manual of Style for more information. dhett (talk contribs) 19:08, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism Warning edit

I have reverted most of your edits from 13:05 on August 1 to 15:54 on August 2. Replacing "and" with "&" or replacing "at" with "@", especially in mid-sentence, is very poor grammar and goes against Wikipedia's Manual of Style. Please stop making edits like this, as you have been warned above. - NeutralHomer T:C 23:54, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to KLAS-TV, you will be blocked from editing. -- azumanga (talk) 20:28, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Final Warning edit

Dude, you have been asked multiple times not to change "and" to "&", not to change "at" to "@", not to change "11:00" to "11", and not to change "p.m." to "PM". Also, changing "its" to "it's", when it doesn't mean "it is", is wrong. You can have a sentence read "it's newscast is @ 6 & 11PM". That is a mess some people can't understand and against Wikipedia's Manual of Style, which is how we write articles.

Now, you have been asked above by a couple admin to stop. They have the power to block you from editing if you continue. I ask that you take a look at WP:RS and WP:MOS as asked by those admin and let us know if you have any questions. Next step is a block...not fun...trust me! - NeutralHomer talk|edits 05:28, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I should be unbanned because this time, I will add any info for any of the articles into wikipedia

Decline reason:

You've abused multiple accounts and vandalized frequently. Why should we believe you've changed now? — Hersfold (t/a/c) 00:07, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
