Hello, I'm Gottagotospace. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Gottagotospace (talk) 01:10, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Gottagotospace (talk) 01:50, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I did cite a reliable source - ME, Stephen Asbel. I was there. I was a participant in that competition. I should think that is more reliable than some second hand publication after the fact. WombatMcDougal (talk) 02:01, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Added your source!

Hi Stephen! Thanks so much for finding that source about the 1981 national Hi-Q competition! I was just able to check it out (Wikipedia Library finally started working) and I added it to the article. I really appreciate the effort you took to find this! Gottagotospace (talk) 23:01, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for adding that edit in. However, I got a message when I tried to reply on my phone that Wikipedia blocked my IP address. I do not believe I did anything to justify that. WombatMcDougal (talk) 13:32, 24 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Although I was able to post this reply so does that mean the block is lifted? Or does it only apply to my phone? (I am using my laptop at the moment). Thanks. WombatMcDougal (talk) 13:34, 24 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
It probably only applies to your phone, and probably only temporarily until your IP address changes again, or the block expires. I checked the IP address that you used the first time you edited Delco Hi-Q, and there aren't any blocks on it. IP addresses change sometimes, and your phone might currently have an IP address that used to belong to someone else who actually did do something to justify a block. That's one reason good-faith contributors are encouraged to create accounts - the block likely only applies if you are logged out. If you log in to your account from your phone, you'll probably be able to post! Gottagotospace (talk) 14:07, 24 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
