SRK picture

edit

Hello, Wolverine, if you wish to add a new main picture to Khan's article (what's wrong with the old one, BTW?) then please provide copyright holder, fairuse rationale and the link where you got it from. Otherwise we cannot keep it.

For an example, see John Abraham's main picture for example.

i already said i got it from www.funmunch.com

Yes, but who is the copyright holder? Who made the picture? Who owns it? Is it a promotional picture for a movie or merely from a photo shot? What justifies it to be added to SRK's page? Fair use reationale? If you don't add this stuff, the picture has to go. Actor John Abraham (actor)'s info on his picture could serve as a role model.

cant you ask that to the person who owns funmunch or the website?

No, Dracula's talking to me.
About those pictures: You could ask them, and if you get the information, then the picture can stay. However it is easier to find a picture from a movie or accompanying material, as the copyright holder is always the production company. PS. Erm, still not sure what was wrong with the KANK-picture. It's SRK's newest movies and this is what he currently looks like, wo why not keep it? Plus, it has all the copyright info.

Thanks for uploading Image:OME LOGO.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

What's Wrong With The Article "Vishesh Oberoi" It's about the creative director of Oberoi Middle East Events, The Youngest In The Event Buisness!! Pls Put It Back!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wolverine 511 (talkcontribs) 14:00, 9 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Neither being young, or being a creative director, is an indication of importance (WP:SPEEDY#A7). Perhaps you could familiarize yourself with our WP:Verifiability policy and WP:Notability guidelines. Where did you get your information? If you got your information from an independent source, that will work wonders. Marasmusine (talk) 14:03, 9 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
