Looking good! I did some copyediting and might have left a few templates. Next steps could include:

  • an infobox (Check)
  • categories (Check)
  • maybe a photo (Check)
  • once it's live, make sure it's not a Wikipedia:Orphan (Check)
  • fix two of your citations (Check)

Hi Will! I really liked this article. I made some minor copy edits, but overall I think it looks very good! My one comment would be to consider moving the quotes from the players involved in the play down to the reaction section, since that's where all the other quotes (besides the call) are, but I don't think it's necessary - just whatever you think flows best. Otherwise, I think it looks great!

This looks great! Here's a quick summary of a few edits I made. Feel free to change them back if you disagree with my wording:

  • changed "had the following call" to "made the following call" in the first line of "The Play"
  • Corrected an incorrect spelling of "Goodell"
  • changed this sentence: "Further reports indicated that the NFL is considering adopting a rule that would allow coaches to challenge, on a limited basis, judgment calls, whether or not a penalty had been called" to "Further reports indicated that the NFL is considering adopting a rule that would allow a limited basis for coaches to challenge judgment calls, or whether or not a penalty had been called" to facilitate the flow of the sentence

Also, not sure if you were planning on doing this, but when the actual article goes up I would place the contents box below the first section. I believe Wikipedia does this automatically, but I wanted to point it out just in case. Great work!
