Thank you for your recent contributions to capsid and Introduction to viruses. I have reverted your to edits to the last article because formatting errors caused problems and the level of detail is too much for an introductory article. The edits to capsid are informative, but I think more explanation is needed. I have not accepted your edit request to virus for similar reasons, but mainly because primary sources have been used, and secondary sources such as review articles in established peer-reviewed journals are preferred—particularly in Featured Articles. I have read From the Cover: Platonic and Archimedean geometries in multicomponent elastic membranes and it is clearly an important contribution to virology, but I think it is too soon to incorporate this. It would be great if you could elaborate, when secondary sources are available, in the capsid article, which I think is the most appropriate venue for these findings.
