Sarah Silverman article

edit

Hello, I noticed you reverted my edit. Though twitter isnt an ideal source, there is no mechanism to archive Instagram stories and it's clear the screenshot in the Instagram screenshot is not fake as many other users verified it was real. Additionally, my edit was NPOV since it merely described the content of what she shared. Ashvio (talk) 05:54, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Update, this tweet may be a better source from a verified user as well as proof the story is real (it was replied to). Please verify it meets the standards. https://twitter.com/XOAMANI/status/1714853901671739532/photo/1 Ashvio (talk) 06:03, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello Ashvio. I still have several concerns about this your edit.
  • First, I agree the story was posted by Silverman. However, I do not believe that it stands out among her many posts about the subject that are actually her words, not shared from someone else. She has shared a number of posts that are her words. This story did not indicate whether she agreed with the speaker or simply thought it was an important viewpoint to highlight, or even disagreed. For an analogous example, retweeting a tweet on Twitter often does not indicate agreement, so it should not be assumed as such. So I do not believe this story should be included on her Wikipedia page. In addition, Silverman posted a Tweet (from her verified account) that sharing the story was a mistake and she took it down. Again, I do not believe it warrants inclusion on Wikipedia.
