Starrett City
editPlease check the New York Times today - the name of the partnership was reported as Berkshire and later corrected to Clipper Equity LLC.
Then please restore my correction to the article. -- Paul (User:Lpgeffen)
- We do not doubt hacking, but until disproved, I suppose, we shall leave you and... "Clipper Equity" alone. We had never before heard of them, nor can we find any mentions of them other than recent events from vulnerable site. We shall forgive this time. -- Martin (User:Wiki-Defender)
- Martin, please take a look at my contributions here: [[1]] and let me know if you think I'm a hacker or a vandal or a defender of Wikipedia. -- Paul (User:Lpgeffen) 15:40, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- Paul, sorry for giving the wrong impression. I meant that someone else might've been doing vandalism, but then again, I'm paranoid. Often, I seem to run into very suspicious ports and IPs doing odd things, and at that time, such a thing was occuring. So I just became paranoid, as I said. I apologize for any offense. - Apology accepted. If you look at my edit history you can find examples where I've done the same things. You seem to be new to Wikipedia, and I welcome your enthusiasm. There's plenty of work to be done in monitoring recent changes by anonymous (IP) users. -- Paul (User:Lpgeffen) 15:51, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for accepting my apology. Also, thank you for welcoming me, but I am not new to such site monitoring. I actually did this out of... boredom, really. The internet needs less trash and more things worth looking at. Wiki-Defender 15:56, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
Agreed. Wikipedia has the potential to become a really useful site. These days the growing pains are fascinating and I'm exceited to be part of it. -- Paul (User:Lpgeffen) 16:31, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
