KLM edit

I removed the registrations because that information is not encyclopdic, clutters up the fleet table (especially as the amount of aircraft increases), and is less reliable than the fleet numbers. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate list of information, which these registrations definitely are, and don't add anything meaningful for a reader visiting the page and reading the fleet section.

I removed the incident you added because it is simply not a notable incident, perhaps to people who follow aviation, but not to the general public. Notable incidents are ones that have a lot of media coverage for one reason or another and are more major than the one you added. This, if you feel it to be absolutely necessary, you can readd, but the lists present on any page are always encouraged to be kept at a low number and therefore have strict guidelines of notability.

I suggest you check out Wikiproject Airlines and look at the examples on this page for further information. NcSchu 14:04, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sandbox changes edit

I would prefer if it is at all possible that rather than change icons is my sandboxes you were to leave a note saying that these A1.. B1.. C1.. and so on have been superseded by A2.. etc and say where the new names are clearly listed. Of course the whole of this iconery needs replacing by a system allowing elemental combination.--SilasW (talk) 15:19, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Allright, I will take that into account. All new icons can be found here. These have consistent names. Wiebevl (talk) 15:53, 8 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

STR-KRZ BSicons edit

Hey, many thanks for this! The one I really need looks like   (umvSTRr-KRZu) but with swapped colors. I uploaded it as a derivative labelled   (mvSTRr-KRZu) — feel free to fix the name, of course! Tuvalkin (talk) 17:17, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ditto for   (uvSTR+r-KRZ), which I based on your   (vSTR+r-xKRZ).Tuvalkin (talk) 17:33, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
YW, names look ok to me :-) Wiebevl (talk) 22:06, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

misery edit

Regarding these edits, I can't identify any visual difference between the before and the after. Could I impose upon you to put me out of my misery and tell me what the visual differences are? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 00:27, 8 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I did not make any visual changes, what I did was replacing several icons with identical but consistently named ones. Since the repository on commons needs cleaning up I am in the process of recreating and renaming a lot of icons. Cheers Wiebevl (talk) 16:50, 8 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
"I did not make any visual changes" - I was hoping the answer would be similar to that. Thanks, Pdfpdf (talk) 23:09, 8 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

BSicon_vSTR-eBHF.svg edit

Hi! Concerning this, many thanks for your comment, I now understand your idea. My renamings and duplications were only “conservative” attempts to rename things to where they apparently belong, like   (STN) to   (BHF). You are doing a major rehaul, and a needed one, so I’ll will make sure I don’t mess with your ongoing renames. Tuvalkin (talk) 21:00, 13 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
