Speedy deletion of Thugstep edit

A tag has been placed on Thugstep, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. — scetoaux (T/C) 19:36, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability of Thugstep edit

A tag has been placed on Thugstep requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SWik78 (talk) 19:56, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

thugstep edit

just because you wrote an article doesn't mean it's notable. you have to provide verifiable references in order to assert the notability of the article and genre, or else it will be deleted. and at the moment the article reads like an advertisement, which is frowned upon. i suggest you read the articles i linked to in order to get a feel to how wiki works. please don'#t take this personally, but we can't have an article about every non-notable genre under the sun. also, linking to myspace pages generally isn't allowed. --Kaini (talk) 20:22, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

in fact, i see the article has already been speedily deleted by an admin... --Kaini (talk) 20:24, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dark Garage edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Dark Garage, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Stifle (talk) 11:44, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Template talk:Infobox Music genre edit

Please do not make changes to Template:Infobox Music genre without initiating a discussion about it, let alone achieving consensus. The talk page clearly states: All substantial changes should be proposed first on this talk page, and the edit made by an administrator if a consensus is found to do so. --Bardin (talk) 12:03, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

The page is not protected for registered users, so i don't care -- Werwerwer11 (talk) 12:07, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
