It's not good to write articles about yourself. See WP:AUTO. — ciphergoth 16:56, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

It was requested by other bi activists that I include myself on wikipedia. Some crazy person was saying i didn't exist. I could surely hand this to someone else to add, but that wouldn't change the content. lani Ka'ahumanu can attest to the activism details

I'm not aware of anyone saying you didn't exist. If you mean to misrepresent what I said, please don't; it's important to keep discussion on Wikipedia WP:CIVIL even - especially - when it's a topic close to your heart. — ciphergoth 18:44, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
I'm sure she did not mean that in any disrespectful way. Anyway that's all old history that all just stemmed from a misunderstanding and everyone here being so overworked that we didn't get things updated correctly or fast enough. If anyone is to blame it is me, not her.
While it may look strange for her to add herself it is only because Wendy is and excellent systems person and tireless worker for the cause who just undertook to do a technical task that many of the other volunteers did not have the skills or time to do.
Please let us not fight among ourselves. You both contribute so much. The bisexual community has enough real enemies without this constant splintering off into little groups and bickering among ourselves. We should all be working together in a spirit of community and consensus. CyntWorkStuff 17:08, 4 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for your calm response! I'll try to write a longer entry on where I'm coming from on all this when I have time. — ciphergoth 16:30, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

Your article about yourself edit

Wendy: I added you to Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles, but you may want to check the other bios there and see if you feel your notability comparable. I helped Nikki Craft a few months ago with her bio and she went through an AfD that you might want to compare yours with. As I told Nikki at the time: If you want to demonstrate you notability, really need to try to publish at least one book/chapter/major article about your philosphy or your notable life before others will be able to easily see why you are notable. I recommended the same to Nikki. It is hard to do, but I recommend it, even if it only helps you see more clearly what you want to do with the rest of your life's potential "notability". Please also see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nikki Craft for the deletion vote that another activist's bio went through. -- 71.141.10.73 06:46, 6 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
