Request reason:

Please contact Sam Korn for me. Do not act without notifying Sam Korn Sam Korn unblocked me. I do not know who this Derek person is but I have looked at his checkuser link. According to that checkuser request, Derek uses a dynamic IP and I use a static IP. So I may have the same ISP as Derek but as gordon said in the checkuser, there are over a million users of the ISP. So assume good faith and unblock. Note that the person requesting the checkuser was for the AFD so he is doing this to gain the upper hand in a content dispute. Please unblock and I can prove I am not Derek because I use a static IP. EVEN MORE, NOTE THAT SAM KORN NOTED THAT I AM A PRODUCTIVE USER EXCEPT THAT THERE WAS A LITTLE OVERREACTION IN A AFD DISCUSSION BUT SINCE I NOW KNOW IT, I WILL BE GOOD SO HE UNBLOCKED. The nice way is to say "collateral damage" but the reality is that someone who disagreed with me, even after he's won his AFD, continues to attack me.

Decline reason:

You were confirmed to be on the same IP as a banned user. Checkusers check shared/static IPs when they run their reports, and it would not have been marked confirmed unless it was absolutely certain you were the same person. Sam Korn is not a checkuser, and so cannot verify that information - you'll need to check with Alison for more information there. — Hersfold (t/a/c) 21:13, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Your block as a Dereks1x was not based solely on you having the same ISP as him. There was quite a bit of behavioral similarities between you and Dereks1x and it was those behavioral similarities that prompted the checkuser. --Bobblehead (rants) 21:10, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
