The usual practice on Wikipedia is to avoid using a photo disliked by the subject (for whatever reason) if another free one is available which equally or better illustrates the article. If you have a photo available under a free license, I would be happy to help you upload it and put it in an article. - To add a photo to Wikipedia, click here, browse to the file on your computer, upload and rename it, add a description, and then choose one of the licenses. For your own work, any of the options under your own work in the drop down menu can be used, as you choose. I know this part of using Wikipedia can be far from obvious, especially for new users, so I'll watch this page and you can put specific questions here if you have them.
