Iota Nu Delta

edit

Welcome to wikipedia as said before! In regards to your edits at Iota Nu Delta I would suggest that you to read over the Copyright policy at wikipedia. Also please take note of the Neutral Point of View when editing articles. I noticed your edits to the Iota Nu Delta article are similar to what was previously on the page before I started watching it and editing it. The reason I edited it in the first place is that somebody had taken the text straight from the Iota Nu Delta website without permission from the fraternity itself. This is against Wikipedia policy. I don't want you to feel that you've done something wrong, I just wanted you to be aware of this and wikipedia's policy. I hope you don't mind if I go through and edit it myself, in a few days so it isn't in copyright violation. Or you can do that yourself! Anyway just a friendly note from a fellow wikipedian! I hope you have fun editing. --ImmortalGoddezz 04:27, 28 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry to say that I have not received confirmation from Iota Nu Delta about the information used on the wikipedia page. Since it has been over seven days since I sent the confirmation email, I have taken the action of reverting the page back to a non-copyrighted version. When/if Iota Nu Delta does indeed give permission to Wikipedia it will be easy enough to reinstate the information but for now I hope you understand why I reverted it. Additionally I have copied emails/comments onto the talk page of Iota Nu Delta for reference purposes. --ImmortalGoddezz 04:19, 18 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:INDcrest.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:INDcrest.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:14, 1 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
