I have read the Blocking Policy and noted that the purpose for Blocking a user is to prevent damage or disruption, deter such behavior, and to encourage a productive community. I was asked to change my name because it may come off as promotional, and I changed my name to reflect the guidelines as requested. I also apologized as I did not know initially how to make that change when it was first requested. I understand the intent to contribute at Wikipedia is not as a promotional tool.

I've worked with various press both printed and broadcast since 1990. I've studied news journalism, and I understand that neutrality is important here, whether it is writing a page or reviewing content on another. Yes, I did write one page here. I do not know if I will write another. I cannot tell you today that I will not write dozens more, or that I will not review or comment on other pages, either. It would not be fair for me to tell you more than I intend to be as neutral and unbiased as possible, whether it is on a page I write or a page I read.
