Killed off

edit

A tag has been placed on Killed off, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. mcr616 Speak! 16:14, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Just so I know, whats wrong with short pages and why do you delete them? How can I avoid them being deleted?
There's nothing wrong with writing short articles, but they must be notable enough to warrant having an article. So an article about a Youtuber is very unlikely to be notable enough to have an article. For more information head over to the Wikiapedia notability page to find out how to determine if an article is notable enough to create. Also tag your talk page contributions by putting --~~~~ after your comment. If the article was notable enough make sure you include references and you'll be fine! --Samtheboy (t/c) 16:13, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Next question, how did this one escape you? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lonelygirl15 Shes a youtube user as well, so why does she have a wiki page? I know shes fake and some sort of advertising scam, but still... --Vorkagen 16:31, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
If you have a look at the reference section of that page you will see that there have 37 or so independent articles written about her by other people. This makes this user notable! Another point of advice, you don't need to write out the whole url of a wikipedia page - you only need to write [[article name]] so instead of writing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lonelygirl15 all you have to write is [[Lonelygirl15]] and it will appear as a link! --Samtheboy (t/c) 16:35, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
