NPOV regarding Balouchistan

edit

Dear mam/sir,regarding the "anti-Pakistan government" alligations, placed by a Balouch user is true. I think it should stay there, because the fact is,the Pakistan GOV is ignoring human rights and the army is using excessive force, regardless of what the Balouchi user thinks of it as good or bad.

Look what happened in East Pakistan,do we want the same thing to happen with Balouchistan?

I think a good thing we can do as Pakistani wikipedians for Pakistan is to expose the crimes of the army.

edit

Hello dude got your message, I did nothing ,that article was not neutral so I edit ,it is strange to see that even reading that article no buddy even changed it, that user try to show that it is All balouch and sardar who are doing wrong thing. i am not favoring Sardar,ok lemme tell you one thing that user mention 3 names . 1st name was Nawab Akber Bugti (he was head of state? his party is still in Senate) if he did any thing wrong that was government who was supporting him, he been part of establishment he been part of Pakistan Government. He had his own military when he was in government, at that time no buddy pointed out him he was wrong at that time.even he supported Govermenet in Start of operation in 1970. 2nd name Mengals, Akhtar Mangel (he was head of state too) he was also part of Government. what i am trying to say is ,it is not only them, it is Government too and our Miltary forces. 2nd thing Kalat State was attacked (read bibliography of khan of Kalat). he mentioned what was done to them have read little of it, so i would not let any write any thing wrong here will send you some of links, if you think those help then it is fine. (sorry i was in hurry last day so i did many mistakes ,typo erros specially)

Image:Shahid Bokhari.jpg

edit

Hi, you claimed that this image is in the public domain, but I can find no proof of this. The source website http://hcr3.isiknowledge.com/author.cgi?&link1=Browse&link2=Results&id=1644 says "Copyright © 2002 Thomson ISI". Even if that does n't apply to the image itself it does not matter. Copyright is graned by default and unless there is an explicit release of rights the image remains copyrighted, the absense of a copyright notice means nothing. There is also no indication that the image should have lapsed into the public domain due to age, so I have removed the public domain tag and labeled it as having no valid license. If you do not wish it to be deleted you can consider contacting the copyright holders and request they release the image under a license we can use. Thanks. --Sherool (talk) 11:33, 25 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Suparcologo.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Suparcologo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. edit

Thanks for uploading Image:UETLahorelogo.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Greetings Recent Changes Patrollers!

This is a one-time-only message to inform you about technical proposals related to Recent Changes Patrol in the 2016 Community Wishlist Survey that I think you may be interested in reviewing and perhaps even voting for:

  1. Adjust number of entries and days at Last unpatrolled
  2. Editor-focused central editing dashboard
  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.
