I have just gone through and removed a number of your additions to various articles as they appeared to be simple advertisements for Acorn Media UK. Please note that wikipedia is not a site for advertising or self-promotion. If I have misunderstood your intent in adding that DVDs of various books and shows are available at Acorn Media UK, I apologize, but focusing DVD release information on only one retailer is inappropriate for this encyclopedia. -Markeer 21:14, 31 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Dear Markeer

We want to make people aware that these dvds are available on DVD - is it permitted to do this and leave out the reference to Acorn Media UK Ltd.?

Mentioning a DVD edition is available is common for television shows and movies, particularly if the DVD offers content or features unavailable elsewhere. My concern/objection was to focus on one retailer in what I perceived to be a partisan way. -Markeer 12:38, 1 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oz & James's Big Wine Adventure

In attempting to put this in a category, I googled it to see if it was a book, tv show or movie and found out it was the first two and a DVD. Can you please be a bit more clear which one you are writing about? Plot summary could be a book's plot or a tv show's plot (or even a movie's plot!). Don't assume everyone is familiar with the subject. When writing, use one of my English teacher's suggestions: assume the reader knows nothing about the subject at hand. 172.145.172.245 01:57, 12 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
