When quoting a template, you need to do it with nowiki inside < > markers, with a slash / iinbetween the < and the n on the second one. Like this (look at edit window to see it) {{hangon}}. Peridon (talk) 21:07, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

You seemed to be trying to get the talkback template code on your userpage ( {{talkback}} ). I was telling you how to get it to be there without actually operating. If yoiu look at the edit view of this, you'll see how I did that. BTW - you use talkback on another users page to tell them there's a message on YOUR page for THEM - not the other way round.
