edit

Hello, I'm Framawiki. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Transfiguration Cathedral in Odesa, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Thanks, Framawiki (please notify me when you reply) 00:10, 23 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please seevWP:PAYWALL. The mere fact that a source is paywalled does not mean it cannot be used. Victor Schmidt (talk) 16:06, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Blocking policy U propose link payant not possible to read for all users for FREE it’s hors mission Wikipedia u not right!!! Vipgirlua (talk) 16:05, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Links used as references have no obligation to be free to readers. References, as long as they're reliable, can come from almost anywhere. If it's hidden behind a paywall then so be it. No different to being inside a book that you'd need to buy. There is no obligation to provide you with easy access to it, just to inform you what it is. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  PhilKnight (talk) 16:09, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please read our policies on edit warring and paid sources, then feel free to appeal your block. A source being paid does not prohibit it from being used as a citation, it is not other users' responsibility to research and verify your uncited edits, and trying to force your position through will only get you blocked. It's a good thing to feel passionately about something and want to share it with the world, but you also need to work within the boundaries set by our community. @PhilKnight: Can you please retract the talk page access of this person? They clearly don't seem to be using it productively. Dinoz1 (chat?) (he/him) 16:19, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I'll give them a bit more time to see if they want to post an unblock request. PhilKnight (talk) 16:25, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
