Her research on her hypothesis of Uplift-Weathering and how it has impacted the earth surface and climate. In audition her involvement in research on ocean climate cycles, past ocean climate and levels, and her help on understanding the Earth’s history and stratigraphy. Led to her more recent work on remodeling past warmer climates and its effect on sea level and ice volume, in response to the effects of global warming on ocean sea level.
