Speedy deletion of Duy Tran

edit

A tag has been placed on Duy Tran requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you.   Constructive contributions are appreciated and strongly encouraged, but your recent edit to the userpage of another user may be considered vandalism. Specifically, your edit to User:Zaiger420 may be offensive or unwelcome. In general it is considered polite to avoid substantially editing others' userpages without their permission. Instead, please bring the matter to their talk page and let them edit their user page themselves if they agree on a need to do so. Please refer to Wikipedia:User page for more information on User page etiquette. Thank you. --Geniac (talk)

unban

{{unblock|I was not vandalizing, I was reverting bad edits. Please unban me.}} Vileplume 06:13, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

You've been blocked indefinitely for vandalism and disruption. [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] for some examples. Mr.Z-man 06:15, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

If I do not continue this, then will you unban me? I would really not like to be permanently banned from here, I would like to offer more for the site (I occasionally get carried away with telling people not to vandalize, though I see I did it myself and am sorry).

Decline reason:

Your vandalism and disruptive attacks on other editors give me no confidence that you will actually cease this behaviour. Kevin (talk) 09:57, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Is there any way I can prove this to you guys? I really honestly would like to continue contributing here (in a non-abusive way). Does Wikipedia have an irc channel or anything I could communicate through rather than appealing bans on my talk page?

Decline reason:

That's a question, not a reason for unblock.  Sandstein  22:30, 9 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
