Coeliac disease

I gather you have an interest in that article. It is in need of improvements, not just the content and the presentation, but also the sourcing. I added some critical sources (such as the Nature paper identifying tissue transglumatinase as the target of the antibodies) but there is plenty to do. It may be worthwhile nominating this one for the medical collaboration of the week, which has previously worked wonders for prostate cancer, multiple sclerosis and asthma. My partner has celiac and I realized the article needed improvements. I can work on adding sourcing - I did a little of that in the text so far. I have also written an email to the director of the University of Chicago's celiac program to see if she would be the "expert" though I only did that this weekend, so I haven't heard back yet. Thanks for the info on the name signing. I went through the pages on what to do the first time here but have obviously forgotten some of the instructions! ViewsAskew 15:11, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

I know Chicago is rather big in coeliac. Isn't Peter Green there as well? One of our medical contributors (Steven Holland, Naperville) is also from Chicago. An expert view will be immensely useful in delineating which major theories exist at the moment, and which references could be best used to present these theories. A diagnostic and therapeutic algorhythm from an expert is also useful, as long as it is verifiable. JFW | T@lk 21:08, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
