I'M FIGHTING BACK FOR THE TRUTH IN WIKIPEDIA, I HAVE FOUND ANOTHER COMPUTER.
WARNING: DON'T BELIEVE THESE GUYS WHO SUPPORTS THE DICTATORS HUGO CHAVEZ, EVO MORALES, RAUL CASTRO, MANUEL ZELAYA, DANIEL ORTEGA AND RAFAEL CORREA: User:Cool3, User:Mangojuice, User:EdJohnston, User:Maunus and User:Congolon.

Introduction edit

For you who are reading this, i'm just letting you know that what happened in Honduras was NOT a coup, was a presidential sucession. Manuel Zelaya was legally deposed from Honduras become he wanted to conduct a binding poll which was illegal. Please investigate all what happened before june 28 correctly. I will fight for the truth here in Wikipedia where there seems to be a lot of wrong information.

Replaceable fair use Image:Pepelobo.jpg edit

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Pepelobo.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 19:57, 28 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image (File:Rafaelpinedaponce.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:Rafaelpinedaponce.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 19:59, 28 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edit war on Roberto Micheletti edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Roberto Micheletti. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. This quibbling over semantics in Honduras-related article has gone on for too long already; now that there is consensus on the talk pages, please respect it. LjL (talk) 00:51, 8 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

To reiterate: please do not edit war to get your preferred version; you may be blocked for this even if you do not breach WP:3RR. If the WP:CONSENSUS is against you, you must respect it (you can seek dispute resolution if you wish). Also, you may not describe a content dispute as "vandalism", as you did here. Please refrain from doing so. If you need to, check the WP:VANDALISM definition. Rd232 talk 07:23, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Also please don't issue frivolous warnings as you did here [1], or accuse good faith editors enacting consensus of vandalism as you did [2]. Your continued reversions are against consensus. Discuss first and if you cant achieve a consensus for your preferred version, desist.·Maunus·ƛ· 08:51, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 55 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for engaging in an edit war on Roberto Micheletti. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Nja247 09:32, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Note the length of this block is due to your repeated 3RR and edit warring infractions.

Destitution edit

In English "destitution" means "a state of complete poverty". I believe the word you are looking for is "deposition". If you want to change "Coup d'Etat" for "deposition" get consensus on the talk page first.·Maunus·ƛ· 08:54, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Removing sourced opinions and other serious issues with your edits edit

Please, refrain from removing sourced opinions, as you did here and here. Wikipedia's NPOV policy means "Neutral Point Of View", and absolutely not "No Point Of View" as you seem to claim in your edit summaries. Presenting, and properly attributing, various point of view is indeed one of the founding principles of Wikipedia.

You should also attempt to preserve contents, by not simply removing it like you did for example here and here, where you claim it should be moved to a different article but do not actually perform the move. Additionally, the edit summary you used in the former case is deceptive, because you don't mention that you have also changed "coup d'état" to "constitutional crisis", a change that you very well know to be extremely controversial.

It is also generally unreasonable to assume that someone will "discuss on the talk page" any addition of sourced contents, and in any case you should not simply revert such additions, again on the ground of preserving valid content. You do not own the articles, and you should respect constructive contributions.

To conclude, it is very important that you refrain from labelling an edit "vandalism" in your edit summary, when such an edit is clearly not vandalism, as you did here, here, here, and here; that is a deceptive accusation that is absolutely not acceptable.

Thank you. --LjL (talk) 13:55, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Honduran general election, 2009, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. --LjL (talk) 14:12, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Further problematic edits edit

You have, again, changed "coup d'état" into "destitution". Regardless of your political opinions, it should be very clear to you know, after an explanation on your talk page here and a remark on the article's talk page, that the word "destitution" simply doesn't mean anything related to deposing a president. I understand that English is not your native language, but that doesn't give you permission to blatantly ignore what other people tell you, so, please, check a dictionary of English and stop making such edits: you are certainly being perceived as disruptive. --LjL (talk) 23:50, 12 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Futhermore, you are demonstrating other serious instances of intentional "not getting the point": after I answered your question to the best of my possibilities (and similarly did another editor), you kept, and kept, and kept being disruptive about it. This cannot continue. --LjL (talk) 00:58, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring edit

You have been blocked for edit warring on the article Honduras for a period of one week (the length of time is due to your previous violations of the 3RR). Please engage in constructive discussion on the article talk page, rather than simply making repeated changes to the article. I hope that after your block expires, you will find a way to resolve this dispute with other editors, and I would be happy, if needed, to attempt impartial mediation of the issue. I'm so sorry i promise it won't happen again, if i do it again, you can block me forever or for a very long time. Please unblock me so that i can contribute correctly to wikipedia as i have done for the past one year and a half. Thank you.

Decline reason:

I don't find that very convincing, because this is not your first block: you have been blocked several times for edit warring already and should have adjusted your behavior a long time ago. (This is your 5th block since early July.) Furthermore, you are not blocked indefinitely: you are blocked for 1 week. In a week you may return to editing. This is really not good that you were coordinating an edit war between your account and your IP address. I am willing to change the block on the IP to a softblock, but before doing so I would like clarification on a few things. It seems abundantly clear that you have also been editing as 190.53.244.15 as that is apparently your IP address. Do you deny that this is the case? If you admit to being that IP, then it does appear that you have not only been edit warring, but also using sockpuppets to do so. In order, then, for me to grant your unblock request, I ask the following things:
  1. That you voluntarily accept a topic ban on articles relating to Honduras for a period of one month
  2. That you promise not to engage in sockpuppetry of any kind
  3. That you pledge not to engage in edit warring, or any activity that might be considered edit warring, and voluntarily consent to abide by a 1RR (one revert per twenty-four hours) on all articles
If you are willing to meet those three conditions, I will unblock the IP such that you can continue editing. If, however, you violate any of the conditions we agree to, you will be immediately blocked again. Please understand also that this is a voluntary deal between you and me and that other administrators will in no way be bound by what the two of us agree to. If you live up to your end of the bargain, though, I will do my best to ensure that you are allowed to continue editing productively. Cool3 (talk) 20:15, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
I want to contribute to Honduras related articles, in exchange of that:
  1. I promise not to engage in sockpuppetry of any kind and I also promise not to engage in edit war and I voluntarily agree to abide by a 1RR (one revert per twenty-four hours) on all articles including Honduras related articles.
If i violate these conditions I agree that I must be blocked again. I want to continue editing productively in all articles including Honduras related articles. Vercetticarl (talk) 20:46, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry, but I'm not convinced that that is good enough. You have been blocked repeatedly for edit warring on Honduras-related articles, and I'm afraid that you'll just go back to your old ways, whether you mean to or not. I will remove the requirement that you not edit any Honduras-related articles if instead you will agree to: 1. No article edits related to the Presidency of Honduras (you may initiate talk page discussions); 2. No reverts on Honduras-related articles whatsoever (rather than reverting please try to gain consensus on talk pages and find another editor to revert); 3. No controversial edits to any Honduras-related article without first initiating a discussion on the talk page. Cool3 (talk) 21:02, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
I promise that before making any controversial edits to any Honduras-related article I will first disucuss it on it's respective talk page. I also promise that I will not make reverts on Honduras-related articles and that I will first try to gain consensus on talk pages and I will find another editor to revert. I want to contribute productively on all articles including Honduras-related articles. If I violate any of my promises in any article including Honduras-related articles, the solution is very simple: just block me indefinitely, for a year if you want, but I want to contribute productively to Honduras-related articles. Thank you. Vercetticarl (talk) 21:30, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
To me this seems like you are stating in other words that you are going to go directly back to trying to enforce your controversial view of the Honduran presidency conflict and just get other editors to "do the reverts for you". I would not encourage unblocking you untill you state a willingness to leave the topic of the Honduran presidency behind and work on other topics.·Maunus·ƛ· 21:36, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Agreed. In your statement above you did not promise not to make article edits related to the presidency of Honduras, which was one of the conditions I set forward. If you will give me your promise not to make any edits related to this, I will unblock the IP; otherwise, you will remain blocked. Cool3 (talk) 21:44, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
I promise not to make any edits that refer to the Presidency of Honduras in the articles: Honduras, Manuel Zelaya and Roberto Micheletti. I will discuss it on their respective talk pages if I feel any changes should be added. Vercetticarl (talk) 21:49, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
There are other articles on the topic than those three.·Maunus·ƛ· 22:04, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have provisionally changed the block settings on the IP to allow you to edit as a logged-in user. The IP is still blocked with account creation disabled, but you will still be able to edit using your own account. Any sockpuppetry, edit warring, or violations of our agreement will lead to an immediate block of your account. I look forward to seeing you contribute constructively, and please feel free to contact me if you need any help. Cool3 (talk) 22:15, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I very strongly suggest that, at this point, you leave the task of changing "de facto" to "interim" or "deposed", etc, and vice versa, as well as that of changing "coup" to "crisis" and vice versa to others. Your edits in this realm are unlikely to be appreciated by most other partecipants. --LjL (talk) 23:44, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Also, this edit specifically seems particularly problematic to me. You changed "military coup" to "constitutional crisis" (as it's typical of you to do), but did you even look at the sentence? A military coup can happen "one day", but can a "constitutional crisis"? A search-and-replace way of editing is not the way to go. Not to mention the unexplained change of "nonbinding referendum" to "binding referendum": other articles say it's non-binding, and that's being discussed right now on Talk:2009 Honduran constitutional crisis‎. Seriously, are you kidding us? --LjL (talk) 00:46, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edits that seem to violate the terms of your unblock edit

See the comment by Maunus at the bottom of User talk:Cool3. I suggest that you *immediately* revert the three changes that Maunus listed. If you fail to do so, action may be taken. EdJohnston (talk) 00:28, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

they already revert them. Vercetticarl (talk) 00:31, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
If it's not already quite clear to you that any behavior violating the terms of your unblock won't be tolerated, I'd just like to point it out again. I'd really suggest that you just steer clear of anything relating to the election whatsoever, perhaps try to find some non-Honduras articles that you'd like to edit for a while; I think it would do everyone good. Cool3 (talk) 00:38, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Since you seem to have no intention of respecting the limits you agreed to, you are now blocked indefinitely. See [3] and [4], both after the warnings in this section. This whole situation is based on your inability to edit collaboratively with regards to whether the change of leadership in Honduras was a coup or something else, yet you persist in making changes without discussion relating to exactly that issue after specific warning. Replaceable fair use Image:Rafael pineda ponce.jpg edit

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Rafael pineda ponce.jpg.
