Speedy deletion nomination of Blade wars edit

A tag has been placed on Blade wars, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Response to the hangon edit

Hi, Vaultage. Part of what is going to be required are some good reliable sources for the purpose (PLEASE READ THAT!), as well as changing up the language. I do recommend copying this to a user page so you can work on it in background. Good luck, and hope to see a better version up there. =-) --Dennis The Tiger (Rawr and stuff) 18:41, 10 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the tips on what you guys were concerned about :) I'll look into that right now. Vaultage (talk) 18:44, 10 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
So far so good. Keep up the good work. =) --Dennis The Tiger (Rawr and stuff) 21:18, 10 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi edit

Hi Vaultage. I don't mind if you want to run edits past me; but you can also be bold and just make the edits :> The worst that can happen is that the edit is reverted. If video game articles are your thing, then WP:VG/GL will be of particular interest to you. Leave me a message if you need any further info. Marasmusine (talk) 09:26, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Heya, the draft looks okay so far. Forgive me if I'm off the mark, but it sounded like you might be editing on the behalf of an organization associated with the game. If this is the case, I urge you to read through WP:COI. If you can maintain a neutral POV, it's no biggy. The best piece of advice I can give you is to gather together some independent sources, especially reviews from magazines or reputable websites. Marasmusine (talk) 18:03, 11 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, we try our best to avoid the problem of systemic bias, so any Chinese sources would be as valuable as any other. They would need to come from reliable publishers, so fan sites, etc are not so useful. Reviews/interviews/features in magazines are best - the articlde will eventually need a "Critical reception" section and both criticism and praise should be represented.
