License tagging for Image:B000285M3K.03.LZZZZZZZ.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:B000285M3K.03.LZZZZZZZ.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:05, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

Dear, you are vandalizing the article by removing the pic. Your actions are not justified. Enough proof has been provided about the picture's authenticity. In this case I will be compelled to block you.

Dear sir, it will be done so. Give me some time, and of course I believe users who remove pictures without consulting the administators or the one who posted the pic ought to be blocked. Sir, and yes you should be referring books for the same if you doubt the authenticity. I am a native of the very town Malik Ambar created. No, that isn't how it's supposed to work. I would suggest you get some help from the other editors at WP:INDIA, many of whom are experienced contributors to the community as well as more knowledgeable about this sort of thing than me. Daniel Case (talk) 05:39, 12 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

You are no one to determine what is right and what is not. Better check your own sources before you delete a picture. And stop claiming you know about the physical features of anyone, stop talking and present the facts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nefirious (talkcontribs) 07:22, 12 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

August 2014 edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Talk:Toronto, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 02:15, 12 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for that. I did add that to my last talk. Maybe you missed it? vap (talk) 11:13, 12 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
