Speedy deletion of Cost of discipleship

edit

A tag has been placed on Cost of discipleship requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. - Unforgiven24 Talk|Contribs 21:38, 29 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Resurrection reverts

edit

I'm sorry but your reverting of the stuff I removed is not helping the article. It should be neutral treatment of the topic, not just reams and reams of stuff copy-pasted from religious sites. I've updated the article lead to be more neutral on the topic (referring to more than just a christian perspective). The bits I removed (which you put back) are things stating that only the resurrection of Jesus has evidence (it's got as much evidence as every other resurrection myth in history) and taking a very christian centric view of the article. So to improve it they had to go. Anyhow, I've taken a knife to the lead, see if you think that is a more balanced coverage of a common religious concept. Oh, and I've put a section in the discussion page for any particular discussion you might have. It looks like you're trying to merge another article (was consensus reached on that?) NathanLee (talk) 05:16, 3 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
