Speedy deletion of Vagyoga

edit

A tag has been placed on Vagyoga, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

no visible notability or claim to it

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. TheRingess (talk) 13:08, 31 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

no visible notability or claim to it

edit

I had improved the topic alot. Vagyoga is the new technique for learning Sanskrit grammar and yoga. I am not understanding the following "no visible notability or claim to it" To my mind there is visible notability. And I am claiming to it, as I send the confirmation from my email vagyoga@hotmail.com. Further more Vagyoga is followed not only in India, but all over the world. You may please visit the Indian and Europian association of Vagyoga at [1].

License tagging for Image:Vagyoga Chakren Nadis Tanpura.gif

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Vagyoga Chakren Nadis Tanpura.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

However, the external links you added to the page Kundalini do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. Footnotes

edit

I have added a visible footnotes section to the article to assist readers in understanding what WP:RS support the various claims in the article. In doing so I noticed many formatting problems with the references. I tried to figure out how to adjust the tags to fix the references so they would display correctly but was not successful. I left them as they were, so the display at the bottom of the page will help you locate and correct the parsing problems. The problems appear to be due to mis-matched <ref> ... </ref> pairs. If you want to use them, some of the Wikipedia:Citation_templates may be useful. Buddhipriya 08:31, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Vagyoga/Gurudeva Vagish Shastri

edit

I deleted this article due to a consensus reached by established editors (that is, non-IP editors who had more to their editing history than this article and the debate itself), and also due to conflict of interest (your username is the same as the subject, which does not look good in a deletion debate) and a lack of reliable sources. If you wish to contest the deletion, go to WP:DRV. --Coredesat 05:47, 7 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability of Lakshaman Singh Gaur

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Lakshaman Singh Gaur, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Lakshaman Singh Gaur seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Lakshaman Singh Gaur, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
