The Lesbian Afternoon Wikipedia page should not be deleted via the 'speedy deletion' criteria because the entity/band has validity and importance within the society of contemporary music. The band has sold records worldwide and been an influence on current bands, and to a lesser extent, popular culture.

As referred to on the LA Wiki page highly popular/respected/important/influential bands such as Deerhoof and Of Montreal have been associated with Lesbian Afternoon. Deerhoof used LA's remix of their song 'Flower' on one of their albums and LA's cover of the Of Montreal song 'Disconnect the Dots' was featured in a highly publicized Tribute to the band.
