Wondering About Deletion to Tinder Update

Hi Usterday,

You seem an expert editor here on Wikipedia, but I wonder if you could tell me more about the deletion of an update to the Tinder article, please? It would be helpful for me to know especially for future article updates. My apologies if this the wrong place to post this question.

Thanks!

Happy to help. Content needs to be a) sourced to a significant news article, but also b) written in a neutral, abridged, non-narrative format. You also cannot use person experience or "original research" in the content; you also have to pay attention to the WP:SYNTH rule, which prevents using the spirit of multiple sources to create support for an idea. The major rule though, to follow, is WP:NPOV--which means, when writing about negative information, you have to do it in a simple, neutral manner, so as not to breach WP:UNDUE. Specifically to your edit, though, your source does not pass WP:RS, so there was no way to abridge your content to bring it within the rules, which I usually try to do instead of straight-up deleting something.
