Politics of Vermont edit

Could use your help at Politics of Vermont article and/or talk page. Thanks. Student7 (talk) 00:36, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the heads-up. Is there anything in particular you'd like me to take a look at, or would you like me to just give everything a look-through and do any necessary damage control? UsernameTBD (talk) 00:43, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I reverted my own material refuting the IP's statement (I think there is only one, accidentally signing on under different numbers) that 90% of the Franco Vermonters vote Democrat. I'm pretty sure that this is untrue. As is the implication that one can reliably determine French descent by last names in 2014. Both of which leads me to doubt his source as unreliable.
I was hoping for your support since you restored it once. I've left a comment on the talk page. The IP (newbie) apparently isn't familiar with talk pages. I requested a semi-protect of the page, but it was declined for "insufficient recent activity." If he reverts both of us, I will request that he be blocked. That might help get his attention if he doesn't jump to another IP number!
I think all material relating to voting belongs in Elections in Vermont but that step eludes me right now with this IP. We need to regain control of the article first!  :) I am reluctant to ask you for more time than you have! I'm not familiar with your overall interests/goals. Thanks. No worries, I'm happy to help. My only concern is that since this sentence is already in Elections in Vermont, why is it necessary to begin this edit-dispute, or is it simply to instill the procedure(s) of editing into this person?UsernameTBD (talk) 01:13, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
With your support to move the material to Elections, it would be better to delete the entire section. I will then try to get the IP blocked in his various akas based on our "consensus". Thanks. Student7 (talk) 15:54, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Both articles have been semi-protected and changes have been made. Thanks for your support! Student7 (talk) 02:21, 15 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
