Hidden categories edit
Those hidden categories were added by templates. That way the categories can be used to find articles that need work because they have those templates on them.
There is a link in the tool bar at the left on my talk page with "E-mail this user", but it's actually more efficient to just leave a message on my talk page; I'll get the talk page message whenever I look up something on wikipedia but emails have to wait until I'm at home.
Don't put nowiki tags around you signature (the tildes), it prevents the signature from being expanded when it's saved.
