Your Edits to B. Joseph White
editI disagree with your removing properly sourced, but unflattering parts of the president's entry. I further disagree that reliably sourced information being removed is within the spirit of wikipedia's biography guidelines. As a member of the university's public relations department, who reports to the subject of the article, don't you think that there might be a conflict of interest here? I have replaced the information you removed and placed a request for comment on the article such that it is reviewed by third parties. -- Upholder (talk) 06:04, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Also, is it University of Illinois file photo? I retrieved it from the Argonne National Laboratory webpage. Since its on the Argonne webpage, it should be open source. Am I wrong?H.al-shawaf (talk) 23:28, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
U of I OUR
editI think there's a role for the OUR on wikipedia as long as your conflicts are appropriately disclosed. Your edits on Illinois articles would require 3rd party review. Also, I wouldn't mind help finding U of I related sources and media.H.al-shawaf (talk) 17:47, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Is there anyway you could get me a picture of James J. Stukel for the info box? The current one isn't really appropriate. Another one that I uploaded from the Technology Administration is of poor quality and is very grainy. I thought you could help.H.al-shawaf (talk) 19:19, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
