One thing, would it be possible to filter down that list by IPs who've made multiple constructive edits over several different days in that period? I'm not sure it would be a good thing to notify them all that's all, but the ones who seem more active and not having work reverted etc. Can you filter down to something like that? Perhaps exclude all of the ones who've made less than 5 edits?♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:56, 9 October 2016 (UTC)

I'm not sure how to filter by constructive edits, except by reviewing them all. The table is sortable, so you can sort by number of edits, then pick the more prolific contributors. --Unready (talk) 13:02, 9 October 2016 (UTC)

OK, thanks. I think the best thing though might be say over a month, create a list of African IPs by edit count of say the top 500 editors or something like that? if we can find the top 500 most active African IPs we can invite them to create an account and participate. The data in the table is a month of contributions, from 9 Sep to 9 Oct. If you click the "Contribution count" header, the table sorts by contribution count. --Unready (talk) 13:09, 9 October 2016 (UTC)

Hello, Unready. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Hello my friend. All is archived with no action. I'm astonished that it got wide support and nothing got done. I am so grateful you wrote that code. Could we please persue this together. @Anna Frodesiak: I would say the way to proceed is:

1. We should be sure that the code does what you want and that what it produces looks the way you want. You kind of avoided it before, but you can put the code in your personal common.js on commons, then visit a few galleries to see the results. At the moment, it looks kind of bland, because I wanted to be sure of function.
2. Once you're satisfied it fulfills your requirements, I would suggest asking for comments, probably as an RfC either on commons:Commons:Village pump/Proposals or on commons:MediaWiki talk:Common.js. I think VPP is probably the better place, because it's probably more widely read than a MediaWiki talk page and because the proposal should probably suggest putting any styling in Common.css. It would be weird to have a proposal that affects Common.css on the talk page of Common.js.
3. It's possible someone may suggest an alternate solution, but the proposal itself should address why a bot, a template, or user duplication are not desirable or are actually infeasible. If the proposal is accepted, the commons admins would implement it.

Your script User:Unready/ui.wikimarks.js is no longer functional because it attempts to get an editToken from mw.user.tokens. The script should instead get a csrfToken. editTokens were removed from mw.user.tokens on October 3, 2019 at Phabricator during this edit as they were redundant to csrfTokens.– BrandonXLF (talk) 00:06, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
