Flyers seasons page edit

Please cease and desist from making changes to the Philadelphia Flyers seasons page. Your changes do not reflect the Wikipedia standard for NHL Team Season pages nor do they provide accurate information, as Division Championships were NOT awarded during the playoffs from 1982 through 1993. Please refer to the NHL talk page for further information. Thank you.

Flyers seasons page again edit

Ulf17, if you wish to make such drastic changes to the Flyers page, please start a consensus discussion in the talk section of the page in addition to verifying with other NHL teams if this is a direction that Wikiusers will want to go in. Please do so if you wish to make these changes. Until then, please cease and desist from making these changes. Thank you.

Division champions edit

Pretty much the same as you... The Flames don't claim a Smythe Division banner despite finishing first in the regular season in 1987-88, but the Oilers do, and vice versa for 1985-86. I am nearly certain that the NHL considered the playoff winner to be the Division champ, rather than the first place team in the regular season. Thus, the banner the Flyers hung for 1982-83 would be of their own doing. I've been thinking of emailing the league to find out what they did consider to be the official champion. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
