Archetype etc

edit

Except that it so happens that every link you add is to a site run by Jason Bennet, and you are basically disguising your advertisments as "useful information". Marcuse 20:40, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Right. If you want to add info, please do so without reference to Jason Bennet. -Will Beback 21:02, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

On most of the pages about acting, there are links to private acting schools, when its relevant to the subject. Since Jason Bennett article is copyrighted, and since that is where the article is, I'm putting the link there. Why discriminate only against Jason Bennett's work? Please leave it in there so people can read about the work. It isn't an advertisement disguised. It's useful work. Ucprof 21:03, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, I don't think Wikipedia policies require censorship of Jason Bennett's work, any more than it requires censorship of any other acting teacher. Your request is unreasonable. Jason Bennett evolved Archetype work, and deserves credit for it. Ucprof 21:03, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

As I've said before above, if you add another link to Bennett's website, you will be blocked. Please stop using Wikipedia to promote Bennett. -Will Beback 21:05, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I stand by what I've written already. Please respect that others have the right to read about work that interests them. Ucprof 21:07, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

The community, not me, has decided that Jason Bennett is not a notable person. Your continuing efforts to promote him despite the decision of the community is disruptive. The links to other sites have different histories and contexts. If someone had added a single link to a Bennett website in one article it problably would still be there. But repeatedly adding many links to many articles has the effect of classifying those links as spam. Stanislavski did not get an entry in this encyclopedia until 60 years after his death. There's no rush. If Bennett is still notable in 60 years I'm sure he will have an entry here. In the meantime, further promotion of him by you will be regarded as disruption. -Will Beback 00:18, 11 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Vox Populi, Vox Dei

"The voice of the people is the voice of God. (Vox Populi, Vox Dei)" - Alcuin. Please don't spam for Jason Bennett. Wikipedia voted him off, and forcing advertising on anyone is just not nice. Thanks. Tree Trimer 15:30, 11 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
