This article which is dated 21 January 2009 contains the same picture that you uploaded today. Given that the image was available on the Internet at least three years ago makes it impossible to tell if you are the person that took the picture. Looking through Google images shows the same picture used on several pages but I just checked the first. As the photographer you should read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials so that you understand what is required. If you didn't take the picture then you will need to explain how you came to be the owner of the picture. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 04:18, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
I'm not clear on why you are pointing me to the mobile Wikipedia. I found the picture at File:Abdirahman Farole.jpg on this Wikipedia and it was uploaded on 16 February 2012 at 15:05 then a newer version at 15:08 and finally a revert at 15:09 to the original version. The image in http://diamond-valley-leader.whereilive.com.au/news/story/from-heidelberg-migrant-to-african-president/%29/ is from 21 January 2009. If you follow the link I gave you you can see that I am the one that deleted it about 9 hours after it was uploaded. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 22:20, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
It might have been quicker if you had mentioned that it was originally uploaded to Commons. Now as you can see it was deleted 11 June 2010, but not the upload date, as having no permissions by User:ABF. They appear to still be active so you could ask them what is required to re-upload it there. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 22:07, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
By the way the reason I mentioned the mobile Wikipedia is because that was the links you put on my talk page. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 22:09, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
