Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Cabayi (talk) 11:12, 24 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Requested username:

Request reason:

I understand the reason for the block, and I will not be posting any promotional edits. In the future, I will contribute by editing pages I look at, if I see that something is missing or something is incorrect

Decline reason:

Request withdrawn. You may mark this page as I described below. 331dot (talk) 10:26, 26 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please read WP:COI and WP:PAID. Your request is a bit vague. What topic areas might you edit in? Would you agree to not edit about your business or its field? 331dot (talk) 13:00, 24 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

I would like to delete the account. But I can't do that before the block is removed as I understand it. UMAGE design (talk) 08:27, 25 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
It is not possible to delete an account, mostly for legal reasons(as all edits must be attributable to someone). You may, however, abandon the account. If that's what you are going to do, please say so(some will also mark the account as "retired" with {{retired}}) and I can close this request. 331dot (talk) 08:31, 25 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Yes please. Thank you. UMAGE design (talk) 08:05, 26 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Note that the block is on you as a person, not just this account. If you ever intend to return to editing, you must request unblock under this account. 331dot (talk) 10:27, 26 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure what to do now? How do I change the username or unblock the account then? UMAGE design (talk) 10:53, 26 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
So you wanted to abandon this account to create a new one. That would be block evasion as, again, the block is on you as an individual, not just the account. If you would like to resume editing, I can reopen your unblock request(which includes your new username proposal), but we will still need to know what topics you want to edit about as you will not be unblocked to, in the short term, edit about your company or its field. 331dot (talk) 13:04, 26 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
No, I did not want to abandon the account to create a new one. But I think I accidentally created two accounts - which was not my intention. But somehow, the two accounts that I apparently created are connected. Aren't they? I would like to abandon one of the accounts, as I don't need two. I'm new to Wikipedia (besides reading articles) - so I think I just got it all a bit wrong trying to navigate around Wikipedia and the policies.
I will not make any edits within the fields of design and fashion then but focus on popular culture articles like movies and music. UMAGE design (talk) 14:51, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
