Capitalisation of 'the' in titles. edit

Hi, just an editing tip for you - articles, i.e. the, a, and an, are not capitalised in titles unless they occur at the start of the title, or following a colon. So, e.g. "On the Loose" rather than "On The Loose".Nqr9 (talk) 12:43, 12 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

About the draft "Return to Monkey Island" edit

Hello UFC Beavis, I've seen that you are currently the main contributor to the "Return to Monkey Island" draft. While I agree with other editors' opinion that it's probably WP:TOOSOON for publishing an article, I would like to contribute to the draft, polishing it a bit. I'm writing this message here so that nobody will be taken by surprise when, in the following days, I'll modify several sentences or reduce the quantity of quoted statements to improve its readability. Cheers! -- 00:34, 25 May 2022 (UTC)► LowLevel (talk)

Hi there LowLevel, thank you for the lovely kind message, I really appreciate it so thank you!! Yeah, I saw that the article was created a while back and people really wanted the article online from the draft space so I worked hard on improving it for those people also and really built up the article with things when they became available. I resubmitted it a couple of times as I waited for the requested info before resubmitting it due to the WP:TOOSOON (which is fine), I was a bit upset to be honest with the comment the last person left when they hinted at it being WP:TE as I felt that was a bit uncalled for as all I was doing was improving a previous draft as requested to kindly help here (and it's obvious really) so people had something to work with. There's actually a section on WP:TE that says about hinting at that without any reason shouldn't be done either so it kinda put me off wanting to submit anymore due to that (which genuine editors shouldn't be made to feel that way) but anyway definitely work on it and do whatever you feel is best as that's what it's all about for me, I don't mind and I appreciate it also as many editors are much better than I am anyway so it's all about working together really and kindness :)

I appreciate your kindness by the way, so thank you so much for the kind message. Feel free to do what you feel is best, you'll probably clean it up and make it look much better than I did anyway but at least you have the content to work with now also :)

Thank you so much once again for the kind message and hope all is well for you!! Sending you much love!! :)

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:34, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

The file File:Cover for DJ Nabs in the Lab - The Live Album.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free album cover being used in a WP:DECORATIVE manner in DJ Nabs#Compilation album. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the DJ Nabs article, which means there's no really justification for its non-free use per relevant policy.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:00, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
