Colors
editThe Rome map was made transparent, so that the red highlighted area was hard to see against the maroon ID background. I swapped the white/red backgrounds for readability. I also changed the link color (my personal esthetics, feel free to change back). Ryan McDaniel 01:10, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- I fixed the link, the <div> tag was breaking things. Silly HTML! shaggy 04:04, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- Not a problem. Do you know of a way to get rid of (or change the color of) the underline without using a div tag? Ryan McDaniel 04:37, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- I would have to know a lot more about the way wikipedia is programed than I do. Looking at other userboxes, it doesn't look like there's a way to do this inside of wikipedia. The best alternative would be to pick a blue, purple, or black background that would mask the blue line.shaggy 05:15, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
- That's all I've been able to figure out as well. Thanks, though. Ryan McDaniel 05:52, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

Option for not including a category when using the template
editPer User:Pathoschild: "Wrap the categories in the template with a parameter ({{{category|[[Category:Wikipedians interested in ancient Rome]]}}}) then call the template with a blank value passed to the parameter ({{User Rome|category=}})." Xiner (talk, email) 22:48, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
