This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, U2know, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. TerriersFan (talk) 17:38, 29 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

according with wiki policy for user names, this one doesn't brake any of them.More than this, why only now i'm blocked ? and what suggestion for username you suggest ? About advertising, i don't make advertising, i'm presenting the content of a webpage.Anyway on your request i will modify it. Have a look here also for this "advertising" .A website which have more than 500 (!!!) pages in wikipedia, some of them are dead links(!!!) and NO ONE does ...NOTHING ! : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LiveScience and here you have the links :http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?search=livescience.com&title=Special%3ASearch. Thank you for you suggestions.I'm waiting for good advices

Decline reason:

Your username us U2know, and you put up links to u2know.net. Under our policies, that is considered a promotional username. Thus, the block. --jpgordon::==( o ) 18:18, 29 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

{unblock|reason= So, do i have some explanations, advices ... ? why somebody CAN do whatever that user wants ? "livescience" is a "GOOD" example of user ??? and a good example of advertising ? 678 pages posted on wiki and some are "dead" ??? According with which policy i'm blocked and erased and others not ? Can some one give a good explanation or at least to write here something ?}}

  • Please, only one unblock request at a time. You are blocked solely because of your username; follow the directions above. --jpgordon::==( o ) 18:18, 29 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thx Jpgordon, probably all of you consider that everybody from here is stupid and can't understand your elaborate and sophisticated ways of speaking ...hmmmm ...but my question is WHY some have the "privilege" like "livescience" and I CAN'T ????

That's ALL i need to know ! I don't care about user ! I can create ...100 from 100 different IP classes and ALL OF YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING about this ! I can create from different countries, i don't care what blocking you put !!! I just need to know WHY some one has the "privilege" and some NOT !!! That's all ! Can you tell me ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by U2know (talkcontribs) 19:26, 29 May 2012‎

Sure, easy. You don't get to promote yourself or your website on Wikipedia. And now that we know you want to promote yourself, we'll make it impossible for that link ever to appear on Wikipedia; thanks for the threats so we know to keep an eye out for your contributions. --jpgordon::==( o ) 20:08, 29 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for you answer. A real profesioanl way of doing it ! I ask WHY others are allowed TO PROMOTE with 678 pages, and user names and advertising everywhere and your professional answer is this ! Grat job for wiki administrators ! Well done ! keep it like this ! i will make a report about this discussion to all "high" forums and even to Jimmy Wales himself, JUST to ask WHY ! this was MY ONLY question ! Of course i an easily change the user name BUT WHY someone has the right and some other NOT ? Why others have the right ! And you came with this answer.....very good ! thanks again !
