Hello! I saw your change to the battery location in the Nissan Leaf article:

"Nissan housed the battery pack below the seats and rear foot space"

It isn't clear to me from the articles exactly where the battery is located. It sounds like it is beneath the rear seat and rear foot space, but I can't be sure. My interpretation is a bit different than what you wrote. Thoughts? Stoater P (talk) 20:30, 30 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I added another reference which makes the location clearer. From that reference, it is clear that the battery is under both seats, but unclear whether it is under the rear foot space only, or also the front foot space. Thoughts? Stoater P (talk) 20:49, 30 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I own a Nissan LEAF and know from inspection of the car that some of the battery packs are under the rear foot space. It is also clear from the photograph (on the Wikipedia page) labeled "Leaf lithium-ion battery pack". Note that the battery packs lay flat under the floor and front seats, and are stacked on their sides under the rear seats. Tyz (talk) 16:06, 31 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
