Welcome!

Hello Tylertreso, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, some of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a great page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  JoshuaZ 00:50, 3 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Donald Rumsfeld

edit

What part of "Don't change this" did you not get? Rumsfeld remains Secretary of Defense until his successor is confirmed by the Senate. Please stop changing it. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 20:50, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your edit to Donald Rumsfeld

edit

You changed it again after you were informed that your change was wrong. Please stop. If you're confused about the facts, read the comments in the article and at the bottom of Talk:Donald Rumsfeld. Do not change the article to say Rumsfeld's term of office as Secretary of Defense ended on November 8th.

Please do not deliberately introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Donald Rumsfeld. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 21:08, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Rumsfeld

edit

I'm not sure if you have an agenda, but Rumsfeld is still the current secretary, as has been made obvious to you both on your talk page, and with comments on the page itself. Please stop. It will be treated as vandalism from here on.Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 00:00, 10 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
