Lawless Steve, the New Kid on the Block in the 1960's, quite the memory. Did fantastic work on the big races, this needs to be mentioned. Like Joe Doyle, he sometimes told the membership some tough truths about participating in national administration, which did not make him friends, but I think people appreciated the honesty, and he did make an impact on the national front, pre-unification and after.
