Hello, I'm Josh3580. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Bad Romance seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Josh3580talk/hist 01:03, 15 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Widr. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Judas (song), because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Widr (talk) 00:34, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at You and I (Lady Gaga song) with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Widr (talk) 00:35, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to The Edge of Glory with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. Eyesnore (PC) 00:51, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Just Dance (song). Eyesnore (PC) 01:34, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia built a consensus to call Lady Gaga by her birth name at the WikiProject about Lady Gaga. The consensus, listed here, supports the name provided by ASCAP/BPI references. Consider that going against any kind of consensus will lead you to be blocked from editing. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! See terms and conditions. 02:39, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Songwriter credits

edit

It's not just Lady Gaga songs, by the way. General practice is to credit the songs the way they are listed at BMI or ASCAP, which is the legal names of the songwriters as registered for copyright royalties.—Kww(talk) 20:54, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Initial Boston Marathon 2013 Bombings Blast.png)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Initial Boston Marathon 2013 Bombings Blast.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:15, 18 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Boston bombings article

edit

Stop putting copyrighted images on the Boston bombings article without first:

  1. Elucidating why a fair-use image is needed
  2. Filling out the NFCC criteria completely (i.e. not leaving some sections as 'n/a') -- Veggies (talk) 04:42, 20 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
