Edits to the Entry on The Great Cross of Hendaye
editAmong the critical things that are missing from this entry are citations to references that are not online. It is critical to include references to works that have been published as journal articles or books, especially given that there have been several on this topic. There is mention of Jay Weidner, but no reference to his publications. The article also offers little to balance the esoteric and eschatological speculation. What are current scholarly (non-speculative) interpretations of this monument? What do knowledgeable academic experts have to say about its context and its inscriptions? An article that relies only upon speculative Internet sources does not inspire much confidence and is not a good example of the application of critical thinking and careful, unbiased analysis. This is especially true given the nature of the specific references cited, all of which are ones that can be identified as sources of pseudoscience and pseudoarchaeology Hoopes (talk) 00:33, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
