License tagging for Image:IMG 0123.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:IMG 0123.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:08, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading images of the Bighorn Mountains. You may want to upload them instead to Commons, where they are more readily accessible to foreign language Wikipedias...see: [1] All you have to do is go there and reguster your username and follow the step by step instructions, making sure you add a copyrite tag...looks like you are releasing your images to the public domain, so the drop down box allows one to add that tag when they do their uploading there. Let me know if you need any help.--MONGO 02:40, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

This image:[2] needs a copyrite tag added or it will end up getting deleted soon. I was also wondering if you have any images of Cloud Peak Glacier? If so that would be wonderful to have added to that article.--MONGO 02:42, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
