Hi, thank you for adding the Tez Sherard article. I notice you removed the WP:COI tag from the article. From your username, I assumed you were Tex Sherard. Are you? It seems an odd username to pick if you are unrelated to the subject of the article. Thanks, Railfan23 (talk) 20:56, 27 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm not sure if I am replying correctly, but here goes. I am not Tez Sherard. This is my first Wiki page and when I set up the username I thought I'd set it up for Tez and that way if he or his promoters ever wanted to edit the page, they would be able to log in using the username and password I set up and not have to contact me. Of course, now I realize that they only need to have a username to edit the page. But, I didn't know that to begin with. I have never met Tez. A friend of his asked if I could do a Wiki Page and I wanted to try, so I did. I actually had no idea what Tez did and had to research him to find out. So, no ties, never met him.

thank you. I appreciate the answer. You might consider changing your username to avoid confusion in the future. Another editor has already re-instated the WPO:COI tag on the article because of your username. Railfan23 (talk) 15:50, 30 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have sent you a note about a page you started edit

Thanks for creating Tez Sherard.

User:Doomsdayer520 while examining this page as a part of our page curation process had the following comments:

Thank you for this new article, though there is reason to believe that it was created by Mr. Sherard himself or someone close to him. Therefore it might run afoul of Wikipedia's rules on personal promotions, and more evidence is needed on whether Mr. Sherard meets the rules on notability for musicians. That second issue should be addressed ASAP, because it may be a reason for future editors to call for the article to be deleted.
