Genres

If the sources are saying "indie-folk star Taylor Swift", or "Swift, the folk singer-songwriter", then we can put some kind of folk in her infobox. That's the place for descriptions of the artist. If you want to add genre descriptions of albums or songs, put those in the article body.

The point is that an artist's musical genre comes from sources discussing the artist's musical genre, not from discussions of albums or songs. Binksternet (talk) 14:38, 26 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
