I think I know what might have been the issue for the article. I at first had no idea why I was being accused of reverting, because I hadn't checked the last edit by eppstein when I started. I found out about the lawsuit completely independently. But the crux is, and I think everybody assumed they were the same article, they weren't. Here is the article that Eppstein reverted appropriately: ([1]), here is the one I added: [2]). I really don't mind, I'll let the article go, but I was just a bit defensive over the whole thing. It's just annoying to get accused of being the subject of the article itself, as Parkerparked does on the AfD page - "if you are notable". I'm in Canada, I have nothing to do with her. I just don't like to see articles get deleted unnecessarily, but this one obviously deserves to be deleted. 66.183.69.201 (talk) 19:10, 6 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry

edit

If you're so concerned about me removing my previous comment when I was adding a new one (as to not plug up your talk page with my crap), why did you yourself to revert my talk page [3] after I removed a bot's comment regarding a time I forgot to sign a post? If you have something against a person touching their own comments, then you should definitely leave well alone when someone else removes a bot's message from their own talk page just to keep it clean and up-to-date. 66.183.69.201 (talk) 19:35, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Which admin have you reported me to? I'd at least like to know so I can defend myself--it just sounds like some sort of mysterious threat when you say "I have reported you to an admin," especially when I've never, in years of editing, been accused of vandalism except when I was trying dealing with the one Qatari Princess article which we were both dealing with. 66.183.69.201 (talk) 20:03, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Figures you would interpret it as a threat as oppose to bringing it to an admins attention for clarification and complaint. What is there to argue? You deleted comments on my page - fact. It clearly states in talk page guidelines that it's inappropriate. But in your continuous need to argue, read my contributions and you will see for yourself the admin/woohookitty (I believe that is the correct username). Furthermore, the article for deletion was NOT suggesting that you were vandalizing at least, I did not read the comments as accusing you of vandalism. I think you might have misread users comments. Anyway, that is off the point. Again, please do not clear MY talk page. FYI clearing your own appears to be frowned upon as well. Talk pages are also used as history references for all users discussions, debates, comments and a way to monitor actions. Tree Karma (talk) 20:15, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
The first bot ever to leave something on my page instructed me "[...]then remove this warning from your talk page" (it was even in bold on the original). 66.183.69.201 (talk) 20:15, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • I reviewed the above and from what the history would allow me to see; it does not say what you have quoted. Please go to Bot page and it clearly states removal will be generated by doing certain options/actions not remove it yourself. FYITree Karma (talk) 20:40, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Not sure why you couldn't see my history; it's the first thing there -- [4]. I was removing a huge list of translations (which were against wiki-policy), so it flagged as a removal of too much information. You can see exactly what the bot said -- not that that's the real issue here anyway, I did admit I shouldn't have taken my comments off your page, but I was just trying to keep the discussion up to date. It misrepresents what I did to say I "blanked" your talk page. 66.183.69.201 (talk) 21:33, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
P.S. "If a user removes a comment from their own talk page it should not be restored. By removing the comment the user has verified that they have read it [...] It is also wrong to force them to keep it there as a sort of "Badge of Shame"." (Bold in the original, WP:Don't restore removed comments). You broke rules that were clearly elucidated, what I did, according to WP:Userpage which you keep referring, was actually just "impolite". 66.183.69.201 (talk) 21:49, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
P.S. Saying "Thank You!" to an admonition on my page is kind of rude too, in terms of "Badge of Shame". 66.183.69.201 (talk) 21:58, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
