404 edit

T6 (Or Transparent 6lue. Or whichever you prefer): I went to your website here a few minutes before I posted this and received a 404 Error. I am unsure as to the cause of it, but I wished to inform you of this if you wish to fix this.

Thank you for your time and best regards (Love your flags, by the way!), Gryphon044 (talk) 00:54, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

(As a reply to your reply--I thought this would fit better here.) I'll try to remember that about your site. As to what I meant my "Love your flags...", I was talking about both the ones hosted on your site and on AH.com (To be honest, I'm not a member). I felt that, if I was going to point that out, I might want to leave a compliment concerning it (even if it feels a bit weird).Gryphon044 (talk) 03:12, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Flag map edit

Your flag map is by far the greatest user created map EVER! --Runnersrock (talk) 06:56, 15 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

I agree with Runnersrock. Could you please update your map to account for the flag change of Burma (Myanmar)? Illegitimate Barrister (talk) 14:01, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I see you have updated the flap map of the world with the Burma (Myanmar) flag. Just one more request; the United States flag on its Wikipedia article had its color shades edited/adjusted. Could you possibly update your flap map to represent this change? Thank you. Illegitimate Barrister (talk) 10:39, 8 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

On your latest incarnation of your flag map, the flag of Burma (Myanmar) happened to revert back to the old one. Could you please fix this? Thank you. Illegitimate Barrister (talk) 15:40, 12 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

It appears that the colour shades of the Burma (Myanmar) flag have changed, could you please update your Flag Map of the World to reflect this change? Thank you. Illegitimate Barrister (talk) 13:45, 22 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

File:Flag-map of the world.svg edit

I have problems with miniatures of File:Flag-map of the world.svg. I see only south-east part of the world map (India to Australia). On big (right) picture (

everything is ok, but in smaller version (left)

is bad. Maybe you can fix it. This picture from 2010-01-05T23:19:17 is ok. This problem is on all version since october 2010. Malarz pl (talk) 12:28, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

thx for info. Malarz pl (talk) 22:44, 29 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please stop re-adding this image to this article, as you did here. The file is non-free, and as such fails WP:NFCC #8 when used as an icon, and in any case it's use on this article fails WP:NFCC #10c, as there is no rationale for its use - nor can their be a valid one. If you have questions, ask. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 19:36, 19 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

about the Libyan flag in the file (File:Flag-map of the world.svg) edit

Tripoli fallen to the Libyan rebels since 28th of August and in the file (A map of the Arab World with flags.svg) the Libyan flag had changed to the Flag of NTC Instead of the flag of Gaddafi Government and i have a request to change the flag because the NTC is the Legitimate sole representative for the Libyan People — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.206.148.30 (talk) 17:38, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

File:Flag-map of the world.svg edit

Hi,

Your map is really great, but, I do regret, in fact I couldn't see it all. There is some serious bug in the file: the map doesn't render in Firefox in full resolution (I got a freeze in FF 7), doesn't open in any graphic application I tried. In Inkscape it does open, but with serious errors (flags leaking from boundaries). I tried to download this file three times, no difference. And as Malarz.pl stated, the thumbnails also do not generate properly. So, could you provide a bitmap version of this file? Hi-res PNG perhaps? It would stop problems with rendering, and we could use your creation on plwiki. SVG is great standard, but there are obvious limits for it. Regards, Mulat (talk) 08:52, 25 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

File:Flag-map of the world.svg edit

There is one incorrect thing in this map: Greenland has its own flag. Since 1985. Greenland is no longer a colony of Denmark, but it is an autonomous member of the Danish state community (consisting of Denmark, the Faeroe Islands and Greenland) and flies its own flag. File:Flag-map of the world.svg edit

file contains errors

I saw you contributed a featured-svg file.

In this file you used several <clipPath>...</clipPath>, some of them use <use />, and some of them refer to a <g>...</g> which is an error and should not be rendered at all, as Firefox and Chrome does.

A ‘clipPath’ element can contain ‘path’ elements, ‘text’ elements, basic shapes (such as ‘circle’) or a ‘use’ element. If a ‘use’ element is a child of a ‘clipPath’ element, it must directly reference ‘path’, ‘text’ or basic shape elements. Indirect references are an error (see Error processing).

Wikimedia renders it wrong (by Inkscape and librsvg) (maybe as intended), but it should be rendered differently, see https://github.com/RazrFalcon/resvg/issues/213 it should be rendered as in the lower image.

Could you do me a favour and put every <path /> in a separate <clipPath>...</clipPath>. I would like to make a rsvg-resvg-benchmark with all files in c:Category:Featured_pictures_on_Wikimedia_Commons_-_vector. However it is difficult to treat the benchmark fairly, since resvg renders it correct, but rsvg renders it as intended.
